Duties, taxes, customs, and destination responsibility

United States shipments are quoted with the import duty covered; for every other destination, import costs remain the customer or recipient responsibility.

Customers remain responsible for accurate recipient and item information, destination eligibility, import/export compliance, duties, VAT, tariffs, brokerage/import fees, customs charges, taxes, and destination compliance, except where the shipment quote states that K-Shippify covers the destination import duty.

The United States is currently the only destination where K-Shippify covers the import duty. Every other destination is unchanged: duties, VAT, tariffs, brokerage/import fees, and customs charges stay payable by the customer or recipient at delivery.

United States, Standard delivery
The carrier price already includes the import duty, so K-Shippify collects nothing extra for it.
United States, FedEx delivery
K-Shippify charges the import duty upfront, 12.5% of the order total you paid, so it is handled before dispatch instead of being billed to you on delivery.

The shipment quote states which of the two applies, and shows the amount, before you pay.

The United States amount shown at checkout is the price you pay for the import duty. K-Shippify handles the duty itself, and you are not billed for it again on delivery. This covers the import duty only: brokerage or handling fees, VAT, and any other import charge are not included, and K-Shippify is not a customs broker or tax adviser.
